    Description

    This sale is for a vintage emblem marked on the front "NIIGATA CAR BLDG. DPT." and has some Japanese characters as well.  This emblem has been attached to an oval piece of aircraft aluminum that has rivets around the outer edge.  Niigata is situated north of Tokyo near the Sea of Japan.  This city has a major railway station and the seller believes that this emblem may have been attached to a Japanese rail car .  There is green felt on the back and there is a hole toward the top for hanging this piece.  The aluminum oval measures 7 1/4 inches in width and 6 inches in height.  Study the pictures carefully as there are no returns.  This seller does not ship internationally.
