These dolls were popular in the 80s. They are great play dolls. Dress your Fisher Price, My Friend type dolls in this
sweet apron and dress pattern
. Pattern includes
dress with two sleeve variations, pleated bodice, and tuck at hem. Apron has inset for embroidery or lace with ruffles at sleeve.
If you like hand embroidery or machine embroidery this is a very sweet little set for your doll. Each piece uses a fat quarter so start using up some of those
fat quarters
you have been saving.

I think this is the perfect pattern for holidays! The dress can be made up in any of the holiday prints and you could even make up just one apron and wear the different holiday dresses underneath. The apron itself could be made up of Easter "pastel" colors or Fourth of July fabrics and the dress could be plain.
I
have included detailed instructions. I have not included basic sewing techniques (such as what is a zig zag stitch,) I am assuming that those are already known or available elsewhere. I do give detailed instruction on how to sew up this pattern!
