Memory Bears Sewing Pattern - Make Bears From Clothing - Adjustable Size Pattern

This is an original pattern designed by Brenda's Online Boutique.
You can make your own special memory bear from your wedding dress, shirts, pants, baby's clothing, blankets, scarves, or any other clothing items that have a special meaning to you and yours. I have added step by step instructions, a materials list, photos, and tips. The bear is detailed for a special heirloom but is relatively easy to make. You do not need to guess where to place the eyes, joints, and ears. Don't be afraid of using joints. They are simple to use, and I find that they make bears much easier to make. He/she does have an embroidered nose and mouth for which I have added complete instructions. You may also use felt or a plastic nose if you so desire.
This full-size pattern is for an approx. 13-inch bear standing and approx. 10 inches sitting. He/she is fully jointed. You will need two (2) 12mm safety eyes and five (5) 35mm doll joints for a 13-inch bear. The size of this bear can easily be changed by enlarging or decreasing the size of the pattern pieces. I use Photoshop, but many printers can do this. I have also checked with Staples, and they can make the pattern any size you'd like it to be at a low cost per page.
This listing is for the bear pattern only. It is not for a finished bear. Accessories are not included.

IMPORTANT: The bears made from this pattern are keepsakes and not toys. They contain small parts which may be a choking hazard for children and pets.
