Mayhew SureForce Ultralight Clamps are made from lightweight manganese alloy,  provide powerful clamping with minimal effort and are designed for the most aggressive environments.  This Mayhew SureForce Clamp has a 22" maximum jaw opening, a 5" throat, 2" X 24" bar and a max force of 2700 lbs and features:
Lightweight manganese alloy
Ball bearing mechanism to avoid friction
Completely sealed clamp threads and enclosed piston
Serrated bar with high resistant braking system
Cast iron throat and cold drawn steel bar

Clamps. The popular screw type clamps employ ball bearings that reduce friction. This allows the clamping force to be up to 40% greater than other screw clamps, given the same amount of torque. These clamps have additional features such as enclosed threads, which prevent debris and welding spatter from reaching the threads. The serrated steel bar with high resistance braking system makes them easy to use.
These clamps come in 3 different sizes from 24" to 48" to fit any woodworker and metal worker's needs.
