    SCARCE AND SOUGHT AFTER SKETCH OF A DNA STRAND SIGNED BY JAMES D. WATSON
    Scarce ballpoint sketch of a labeled DNA strand signed by “James D. Watson” on a 5” by 3” Unmanned Mariner First Day of Issue envelope (depicting Mariner 10) and in very fine condition.  The sketch and signature have been authenticated by and are accompanied with documentation from Goldin Auctions, one of the leading autograph auction houses in the world (according to Goldin, Steve Grad with Beckett Authentication pre-certified the sketch and signature).  Actual sketches of DNA by Watson are highly prized among collectors and similar sketches have sold in the past for well over ,000.
