    Description

    This antique single vegetable serving bowl, was manufactured by Crescent MFG Co. Silverware, which is stamped on the bottom rim. There is also the 1317 stamp which is the pattern (CSW1317 is the look up code) Also stamped on the opposite bottom rim is CIRCLE #2 1938. This oval dish measures 12 inches by 8 3/4 inches.
    The Crescent Silverware MFG Co. was founded in New York City in 1922. It moved to Port Jervis in 1939. They made silver plated hollowware, chrome plated items and pewter. In 1977, the company was bought by Samuel Kirk & Son.
    The bowl has a rope trim pattern. Being used, it does have some scratches and small specs of rust. Please see photos to inspect.
