This is
"Chatty Cathy's Apron and Dress Pattern"
a
Doll Clothes Sewing Pattern
.
Chatty's New Apron and Dress
pattern is just precious! I think you can make Chatty up an apron and dress for every holiday. This pattern has an
apron with straps and inset
which can be machine embroidered, hand embroidered with floss or silk ribbon, or lace insert. I have shown the lace insert and the machine embroidered insert. The apron can be a solid color or add another contrasting fabric. The apron is very simple and has two straps, a wide ruffle which can be made with material or lace, and a little inset. There is one snap in the back. I made Chatty a lace apron so she could have a Birthday Dress! Lace is very nice to make this apron up in. You can use the lace netting or regular lace as I did.
The
dress is a waist bodice, and snaps in the back
. I think the dress is very
"Sunday Best"
and is sweet without the apron. I have included instructions for using the popular border prints that are out now.
Chatty's new pattern is ready to start stitching up. This is a really sweet pattern for a
dress, apron, and bloomers!
I just love the many details in this pattern. There are
two dress lengths, a peter pan collar (optional), short or long sleeves with cuffs (which fit Chatty without the elastic!); an optional bib; apron with inset which can be embroidered or machine appliqued; and bloomers that just peek out from Chatty's dress!
Truly a sweet pattern that fits Chatty perfectly! You can make the Sunday Best type dress or the little school dress with the panel fabric. I like the cuffs and bloomers without the elastic! Easy to make up! As with all my patterns, you may make these outfits to sell.
I
have included detailed instructions. I have not included basic sewing techniques (such as what is a zig zag stitch,) I am assuming that those are already known or available elsewhere. I do give detailed instruction on how to sew up this pattern!
I have been making doll clothes patterns since 2000 and all patterns are copyrighted. You can make these garments up for sale,
(I hope you do well)
but you can not sell the pattern or make any type of adjustments and then resell it.
Thank you, I really appreciate your business and am so thankful for all of you! Pam
Note: Dec. 20, 2020. The USPS is saying to expect delays. Please note this if you are ordering patterns. I will send out within a two day period but I can't control the post office. I would either wait till after the holidays or just expect a delay. I use ebay's postal system so your package can be tracked.
