Offering a Antique OLD SHEFFIELD SILVER PLATED ON COPPER ENTREE DISH that is CHASED with a REPOUSSE design.  The entree dish is GORGEOUS!
I found this Sheffield entree dish in my mother in law's home; she had an estate sale business in Virginia for 40+ years.  The dish is marked "Made in Sheffield England."  The chasing is elegant repousse of flowers, leaves and what looks like fish scales.  The entree dish measures 13 inches in length, 10 inches in width and is approximately 6 inches in height to the top of the elegant handle. The dish weighs 5.52 pounds. Research shows that there is a great possibility that this Sheffield entree dish was made by Elkington - identified in as a "scroll and berry pattern."  This dish is the same dish as another for sale for 5 - yet this dish has the chasing on the ends and sides.  This entree dish could be a real "find" for a serious collector!
