    1906 - Committee on Indian Affairs presents some amendments to bill S1336, such as "The fund of 500,000 of the principal sum placed to the credit of the Yankton tribe of Sioux Indians, shall be payable at the pleasure of the United States after 25 years, if the necessities of the Indians require it.  The Untied states may pay such part of the principal sum as the Secretary of the Interior may recommend, not exceeding ,000 in any one year."
