1949 Willys

Description

This is a 1949 Willys Jeep Pickup. Most of the truck is still original with the exception of the drivetrain. It has a Ford 351 Windsor engine and C4 automatic transmission. The rear axle has also been modified obviously to accommodate the dually rear wheels. The axles are factory though. Mechanically the Jeep is perfect. The engine has been recently rebuilt, including the fuel system, carburetor, plugs, wires, etc. It idles perfect and has tons of power. The C4 transmission has also been gone through and shifts perfectly. This Willys is quite the head-turner. The body and paint are in good shape. It is a single stage paint though so not very heavy on the clear coat. Rust is minimal but there a few spots that have bubbling. The truck used to be orange which is why the interior is still orange and black. Wheels and tires are brand new with less than 1K miles on them.
