With the first year of civilian introduction, the CJ-2A is the model that started the Jeep craze. Affordable and reliable off road, the iconic style began here. This particular example has been rebuilt from top to bottom. Now powered by a Chevrolet Small Block 283 Stroker, which has been stroked out to 307ci, this V8 gives plenty of power to get this thing moving. Mated to a T-90 3 Speed Transmission with Warn Overdrive, it is a blast to drive. Up front, a Dana 25, and in the rear a Dana 41 help put down the power as needed. Outside, the Jeep is finished in a bright white paint color with black accents all around. The chrome wheels are wrapped in 31” Wild Country all terrain tires with loads of tread showing. Inside, the upholstery was redone as well with new seats, glass, gauges, and a full Bestop with doors included in the purchase. One look at this Willy’s and it speaks for itself.
